Sunday Reads: 2015 Resolutions

1. Sing and perform more
2. Lose weight
3. Smile more
4. Don't get hard on myself if I'm unable to do any of the above

First of all, a very happy new year everyone! Congratulations for making it this far! It might sound strange saying that but it seems 2014 has been tough for everyone. As global citizens, we've had several tragedies occur in 2014 - it wasn't the best year. On top of this, most people I spoke to at the end of the year seemed to have their own sadnesses that they needed to deal with.  

For me, a few days before the end of the year, someone important to me passed away. I haven't seen this person in yonks but I kind of always assumed that they'd be around in some shape or form. But now they're gone. 

So yes, congratulations for making it to 2015!

I don't really do new year resolutions because I take them a little too seriously and my competitive streak makes me agro when I don't achieve them by July, where I used to do mid-year resolutions. AHAH. 

So I haven't done new year resolutions for years but I thought that I'd join in on all the fun in 2015 by adding resolution #4 - don't get hard on myself if I'm unable to do any of the above.

Am I smart or what?!
